An exciting ballooning, music and aerial extravaganza taking place on the Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of July at the combined Tiverton High School and Petroc campus on Bolham Road, Tiverton EX16 6SQ.
More than 40 balloons are planned to take to the skies on the evening of Friday the 10th inflating from approximately 18:30, and from approximately 6:00 and 18:30 on both Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of July (all subject to weather) in the Devon Festivals. On Friday and Saturday there will be evening entertainment provided by a hot air balloon 'Night Glow', from 21:50, where balloons will give a fire and light show, choreographed to music alongside fire jugglers and a lantern procession. On Saturday and Sunday afternoons subject to weather there will be balloons tethering (i.e tied to the ground) and spectacular displays plus competitions involving mixed teams of public and balloonists, and the opportunity for visitors to closely view the balloons and talk to pilots and crew.
Festival Camping has been extended for 2015 with additional space and facilities added to the campsite, allowing you to further enjoy the Devon music festival experience.
There will be catering for all tastes as well as bars, picnic areas, trade stands, over 50 music acts across 2 stages, main arena displays and children's entertainment on-site. For more details and timings please visit our Whats Happening page.
Please note that no dogs will be allowed at the Devon Festival, except for Guide Dogs, owing to the site being a school campus.
