About Tiverton Balloon Festival

Tiverton Balloon Festival is organised by Westcountry hot air ballooning company Aerosaurus Balloons Ltd, and takes place on the combined campus of Petroc College and Tiverton High School, Bolham Road, Tiverton.

Aerosaurus Balloons have been the Balloon Activity Directors on behalf of The Lions Club of Tavistock and Tavistock Round Table for the Westcountry Balloon Fiesta at Tavistock, West Devon, almost every year since 1996, were sponsors/joint organisers of the British National Balloon Championships held at the old East Devon College, Tiverton in 1988 and were Event Directors for the Tiverton Balloon Festivals in 2011 and 2012. They have organised numerous hot air balloon festivals both in the UK and throughout Europe for the past 25 years.

In organising the 2013 event Aerosaurus aim to provide both a stunning visual spectacle and a great weekend out for participants, the public and families whilst retaining a local 'Grass roots' feel. The event is focused on introducing ballooning to the public as a hobby, sport, career or flight experience and to showcase local businesses, traders and the arts.
