General Festival Information

Please Note: AWAITING SITE MAP UPDATE

Toilets/Baby Changing

Public conveniences, baby changing and toilet facilities for the disabled will be located around the site as indicated on the site map.

Viewing Area/Parking for Disabled

A hard standing area with good access is available to allow disabled or those people confined to a wheelchair to have an improved view of the balloon launch site. Disabled parking is only available for drivers displaying a Blue Badge and is available very close but not in sight of the Festival field. Users of these facilities are required to have purchased tickets to the Festival and are asked to pre-purchase, as failing to do so will result in a small delay at the gate.

First Aid

First Aid on the showground will be provided. They will be stationed at strategic points around the showground so that no-one is too far away from assistance. Additionally roving First Aiders will be on duty.

Access/Car Parking

Whilst every consideration is given to making the Festival site as easily accessible as possible, please bear in mind that it is a school sports playing field. The Standard car parks are in fields on the opposite side of the road to Petroc College and the school, approximatly a 350 metre walk from the main display area. To park on tarmac on site Festival visitors require to pre-purchase a 'Premier Parking' pass, unless displaying a Blue Badge.

Dogs

Please note that no dogs will be allowed on any part of the Festival site except for Guide Dogs, owing to the site being a school campus.

Tiverton Balloon Festival will include an outdoor 'Kids Zone' suitable for children between the ages of 3 and 9 years designed to provide a safe environment for parents/guardians to take their children free of additional charge to play with a range of games and toys provided.
